Home Language Survey

Massachusetts DESE  requires that all schools determine the language(s) spoken in each student’s home in order to identify their specific language needs. If a language other than English is spoken in the home, the District is required to do further assessment of your child. Please help us meet this important requirement by answering this survey.

WHAT IS THE WEF EDUCATOR’S EXPLORATION PROGRAM PROGRAM?

Educator’s Exploration Program is a grant form the Wilmington Educational Foundation whose mission is to enrich the lives of school teachers and students by providing outstanding teachers with recognition and opportunities for summer learning and exploration.  Making a difference one teacher at a time; Educator’s Exploration Program provides funds for direct grants to teachers to support summer sabbaticals of their own design.

Needs Assessment Survey: Childcare during SEPAC workshops

The Wilmington SEPAC usually holds meetings and workshops on the third Thursday of each month.  It is our desire to help as many parents attend our workshops as possible.  We are currently looking into the possibility of offering child care during workshops.  Please take a minute to answer a few questions to help us assess the need for childcare during SEPAC workshops.  Thank you.

Wilmington 9/11 Memorial

With the ten year anniversary of Sept. 11th, we thought it would be appropriate for the Town of Wilmington to have a memorial dedicated to all the people who lost their lives on that tragic day, as well as those who have served or are presently serving our nation. Working together, we thought that it would be best to try to incorporate this memorial with our newly anticipated high school (2014). We hope to have as many students involved in the process as much as possible.  We are also looking for help from the community in the form of donation and fundraising initiatives.  For more information or to make a donation, please click here

 WPS Give and Take

The Wilmington School Business Partnership is a collaborative effort by local business, community agencies, and the school system to establish a cooperative, mutually beneficial, long-term relationship.  In an effort to enable the community and businesses within the Wilmington community to assist the schools, this exchange was developed with the intent of providing a forum where goods and services can be requested or offered.  Listed are items specifically requested by teachers and staff at our schools.

If you want to offer a tax-deductible good or service or if you are part of the Wilmington School District and want to request a good or service, email Krista Anderson at
Krista.anderson@wilmington.k12.ma.us. We thank you for your participation and your efforts to continually improve our schools.

Wilmington Educational Foundation

The Wilmington Educational Foundation (WEF) was established with the mission of  "The Pursuit of Excellence in Education through the development and distribution of private resources to benefit and further enrich students of the Wilmington School District."   WEF is a non-profit organization that operates independently of the Wilmington School District and that pursues and distributes funds from private sources to enhance Wilmington's schools.  WEF helps to provide our children with the tools needed to learn more effectively and to broaden their educational experiences.

WEF endeavors to support and enrich the school system and its programs -- not replacing the Town's funding for the school district, but supplementing it through corporate and private donations.
